To protect our planet, we must act now

Did you know that, each year, humans consume 1.7 times as many resources as Earth can provide? And that if the rest of the world consumed as much as the Netherlands, we would need 3.6 Earths to meet resource demand?
At Polestar Capital e-mobility & infrastructure fund, we are helping to accelerate the transition towards zero-emission logistics. Together with our clients and partners, we can help deliver a more sustainable world.

Polestar Capital is a 100% impact-focused financial services company and asset manager, primarily active in private debt impact strategies.

OUR THREE PILLARS

Our strategy offers a unique risk-return and impact profile for investors, based on our three fundamental pillars:

1

Measurable impact

Focusing on investments with the potential to drive sustainable change, such as zero-emission logistics, we help deliver a positive and measurable impact.

2

Meaningful return

We target scale-up companies, corporates, and projects with an impact focus and a debt financing need, giving us a unique market position for competitive returns.

3

Managed risk

By applying our market expertise, combined with risk-mitigating analysis and thorough due diligence, we ensure that the finance we provide has a carefully managed risk profile.

Zero-emission logistics funding gap

Financing logistics companies and projects in their transition to zero-emission

Until 2030 over € 120 B of investments in charging infrastructure, electric vans, and trucks will be required in Europe to enable the transition towards zero-emission in 2050. This increase in capital expenditure (CAPEX) leads to a funding gap in the logistics sector, while subsequently lowering operational costs and emissions.

PCEIF aims to finance part of this funding gap

We invest in frontrunners who are paving the way to zero-emission logistics

While the e-mobility logistics value chain consists of different elements, we mainly focus on financing three types of markets (1) Charge Point Operators, (2) Depot Charging and (3) Heavy and Light Commercial E-fleets. By serving these markets with our debt-financing solutions, we help the transition in the logistics sector towards net-zero in 2050.
